This website is operated by the Sovereign Military Order of Malta — Jordan National Association, registered as an NGO under the Jordanian Ministry of Health, registration number 420222139. Office: Q. Mesbah St. 14, 3rd Circle, Amman, Jordan. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean this entity.
02 — Use of the website.
You are welcome to read, share, and link to anything published here. In return, please do not:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that interferes with other users.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, scrape data en masse, or probe the site for vulnerabilities (responsible-disclosure reports are welcome — see Contact).
- Impersonate the Order of Malta, our staff, our partners, or any other person.
- Submit content (through forms, applications, bids) that is false, defamatory, or infringes anyone's rights.
- Use the website to send spam or malicious code.
We may suspend or block access if any of the above occurs.
03 — Editor accounts.
Some parts of this site (the /admin content manager) are accessible only to authorised editors of the Order of Malta Jordan. Account credentials are personal and must not be shared. Editors are responsible for content they publish through the admin and for keeping their credentials confidential.
04 — Intellectual property.
All content on this website — text, photographs, illustrations, audio, video, design, and source code — is owned by the Order of Malta Jordan or licensed to us, unless explicitly stated otherwise. The eight-pointed cross, the shield mark, and the names "Order of Malta", "Sovereign Military Order of Malta", "Order of Malta Jordan", and "Yalla Digital" are protected and may not be reproduced without written permission.
You may quote short passages, with attribution, for non-commercial purposes (journalism, research, education). For anything broader — reprints, derivative works, commercial use — write to us first.
Photographs of beneficiaries, staff, and partners are published with consent. Re-publication of identifying images of minors is not permitted under any circumstances without our written authorisation.
05 — Donations.
Donations made through the Get Involved page support the general humanitarian work of the Order of Malta Jordan, unless you specify a particular program at the time of giving. We honour designated gifts wherever feasible.
Donations are non-refundable except where they were made in error (e.g. duplicate transaction, wrong amount entered). To request a refund of an erroneous donation, write to info@orderofmaltajordan.org within 30 days, including the receipt or transaction reference.
Tax-deductibility of donations depends on your country of residence and the platform used to give. We do not provide tax advice — please consult your accountant.
06 — Applications & tenders.
Job applications, volunteer applications, and tender bids submitted through this website are received in good faith and reviewed on their merits. Submitting an application or bid does not constitute, and will not be taken to constitute:
- An offer of employment or contract from the Order of Malta Jordan.
- An obligation on our part to award a tender, hire a candidate, or respond within any particular timeframe.
- A right to compensation for time, materials, or expenses incurred in preparing the submission.
Tender notices published on the website are public-procurement invitations under our internal procurement rules. Final award decisions are made by the Order's procurement committee and communicated directly to bidders. Late or incomplete submissions are not accepted.

This website links to partner organisations, donor agencies, news sites, and external services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
08 — Not professional advice.
Information on this site is published for the public to understand our work. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
